Introducing Wendy Bennett
Founder, Gisborne Good Food
Wendy Bennett is a highly experienced and accomplished caterer with a career spanning over 40 years. Her impressive portfolio includes catering for weddings, parties, and creating menus. She has successfully catered for over 1000 people, including Pacific Island VIPs at the Auckland Museum's opening of the Pacific Room.
On returning to Gisborne 10 years ago, Wendy reestablished her catering business as Gisborne Good Food, and has been creating her innovative menus for functions big and small.
In June 2025 Wendy won that year's culinary award at the Tohunga Tuumau dinner in Rotorua, celebrating the best of Māori cuisine, wine and our world renown Māori chefs.
